I knitted these throughout the election results. They will be worn today and will be my "Yes we can" socks!
Trekking XXL sock yarn size 2 needles - basic sock pattern I have by memory. The only change is a boxier toe - finished off with 20 stitches left at the toe instead of 12.
Beautiful socks for a beautiful day! Now, it really is morning in America!

I love the colors. And I love Trekking XL for socks. Did you really knit the entire pair in one evening??? I'm super-impressed. And I love the election results too!

That's great!
I thought of all my friends who said they were knitting while listening to the election coverage -- and I kept picturing yarn getting ridiculously tangled in all the excitement.
So it's nice to see some real socks that came of it.
