Water - the other day I looked in the parking lot and found that my vehicle had the MOST POLLEN on it of all the trucks and cars. So since we haven't had any rain since we are in full spring bloom, the roads are covered with pollen, and there is dust everywhere. The only solution? Water - and this was a temporary fix. Water in the form of rain is the best solution. Perhaps at that point, we will have folks with fewer problems with asthma and allergies.
Here is a view of a car wash taking care of the outside of the van. Lots of water!
Great shot! It's water!

I had to wash mine yesterday - the pollen is horrible! Argh

It drizzled here today and made the pollen worse! Expecting rain Sunday...Yay!
Happy Hunting :)

That reminds me, I really need to get my car over to the carwash soon and get all the winter salt off of it! Great shot!

Quite a unique shot! We've been having the same problems here in SC -- I posted a picture of my pollen-covered patio on Wednesday. We did finally get some rain yesterday.

Cool picture! I love going to the carwash. I hate when I get all dirty from brushing up against my van in the garage.

Great photo. Our Ballerina loves going through car washes. Which reminds me mine is overdue. Happy weekend.

A very different take on "water". Way to go! I need to wash my truck one day soon too.

I've heard the pollen count in Atlanta has topped 4500 and that 250 makes allergies most miserable. We have had very little rain here on the coast of Virginia recently. I don't think the pines have pollinated yet as there is no yellow scum on the windshield... but soon.

I had to go through a car wash just the other day for the same reason. I didn't think to take a picture through the windshield, though! Clever! Great photo of water.

I just don't recall ever seeing pollen on things here in the midwest. I've always seen dirt and dust but never anything anyone has called pollen. However, when the pollen count is high, I get a migraine and my husband and gets get all sinus filled. We've been having so much rain, I'd send it to you just so I can get my car washed!

Heh, heh. I haven't washed my car in months. We need to wait until it's above freezing. I am so glad we don't have pollen like that! I'd rather have snow any day!

Great idea! the car wash for water! Pollen so heavy you have to wash the car? I'm going back to see where you live...I've never seen pollen like that here where I live. My photos are up, please come and visit soon

Due to water restrictions, we're not supposed to wash our car and my car needs a wash badly.
On the other hand, it could be an excuse.
It has been raining lately so hopefully the restrictions will be lifted a level or 2, soon.
