OK - I am here to show pure silliness on my blog - a woman of my age surely would not be so goofy as to show these pictures, but I promised if, for my birthday, if I got over 100 hits on my sitemeter (and I did 105 to be exact) and over 30 comments (well now it is 55 comments, but it was over 30 yesterday evening) I would make a donation to Episcopal Relief and Development (which I did) of clean water and basic sanitation - a "gift of life" in honor of RevGalBlogPals as well as the many friends who commented.
Some of you know this, but I can be seen dancing around my room with a beanbag on my head, or making elephant noises to distract and amuse and astound my students (they love it) as well as other comical things, like wear silly hats we make in our room. I decided to make one for this occasion and had to do a quick make of a birthday hat for this blog posting.... One of my coworkers took the pictures (most of the time they are not too sure about me, but they go with the flow and said to me today.. well, if this makes you happy!) Anyway, first picture I am looking my goofiest - cross eyed - notice the sticker girl on picture #1. Gravity got the best of her and the 2nd photo.... you notice she is sliding down and finally got stuck in my hair.

Now you all know I am a few hats short of a millinery.
And now I have to think up something good for next time :)
I love the hat!
I wonder if my new class - grades 4/5 this year - would be too "old" to be into hat making for different occasions.
Hmmmm.
One way to find out!

Love the hat and I lvoe to be silly too!
My silliness works great with my preschool Wednesday group, but not so well with the youth. Unless of course we are in auditorium filled with other youth doing entergizers, then it is okay to llok really stupid and be silly.
But, then I don't feel so silly as everyone is doing it! Such is the life with teens!

Love the hat!
I was thinking that maybe we shoud access the HArry Potter questions for a topic on the trivia challenge--if that is one of the available choices. If it isn't let me know.

Cathy, My computer's been sick for a few days, so I hadn't seen your goofy hat until now! Yay for goofiness! I'm glad you had such a nice online birthday party.
