Letter of the Alphabet Meme

First it was Mindy, then Songbird, now me. Ten things I love beginning with an assigned letter. Songbird has assigned me "S" so here I go:

1. Singing - I love to listen to good singing, especially choral music. And singing is a good outlet for me. It allows me to "pray twice" as Augustine mentioned.

2. Ok, I am going to hit all of my kids with the "S" by hook or crook. My sons, one by birth, one by marriage, my stepdaughter, and her 2 Sisters in which I birthed. All of those begin with "S" so that is pretty good right? Really should count for more than one, yes?

3. My Spouse - pretty good, huh!

4. I love to swim. I love the feeling of the buoyancy of water. I enjoy floating in the water with my ears under the water (on my back) so I can hear my heart beating and the peace I feel when I do that.

5. I love the fact I learned to knit SOCKS this year. I find great enjoyment in creating them with the many variety of yarns that there are.

6. From another posting of mine today. I love the movie "The Snowman" - this animated video of a young boy with his snowman he created and the adventures they embark upon allows the viewer to enjoy the innocences of childhood. Oh how I wish our children of today could experience a taste of that childhood. Alas, so much of what they experience is no where near that.

7. I love the South. I love its culture, its people, its weather!

8. I love my students in my classroom. NO MATTER HOW AGGRAVATING THEY GET! Well, maybe I should say how aggravated I GET.   

9. Do you know this is harder than it looks or appears?

10.  I love the sun and the beauty if offers us especially during sunrises and sunsets.
